PostHive is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards in compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
Accessibility Features
- Keyboard Navigation: Full keyboard accessibility including keyboard shortcuts.
- Screen Readers: Compatible with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver through proper ARIA attributes, heading hierarchy (H1-H6), and alt text.
- Color Contrast: Minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text (WCAG AA).
- Accessibility Widget: A persistent accessibility button allows users to customize: font size, line height, letter spacing, word spacing, dyslexia-friendly font, reading guide, high contrast, color inversion, grayscale, large cursor, link and heading highlighting, focus indicators, animation control, and text alignment.
- Responsive Design: Fully responsive across all screen sizes and devices.
- Forms: All form fields include associated labels and clear error guidance.
Known Limitations
- User-generated content (posts, comments) may not fully meet all accessibility standards.
- Third-party social media integrations (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) are subject to their own accessibility policies.
